2013 Looking Back and 2014 Looking Forward

In 2013, our company made major strides in a number of areas. Some of those accomplishments were internal and some, external. FNTS has become the fastest growing company within the First National family.  We are now viewed internally as a strategic component of the financial success of the overall company over the next 5 years. We did this well, growing our reputation as a leading provider in the Managed Services – Cloud Space, often times referred to as Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS). Our market share has grown considerably during the past year and we do this by continuing to invest in our most critical assets; people and technology.

These investments, as well as aligning ourselves with the  top five technology vendors such as Cisco, EMC, IBM, Microsoft and VMWare, have allowed us to compete against the biggest and brightest companies providing IAAS. We have been able to win more than lose when we are competing head-to-head against our competition. However, none of this is possible without excellent customer service. All of the best technology doesn’t mean anything if you’re not aligned with your customers’ business objectives. Meeting SLA’s is now a minimum requirement of entry into our business. Our customers expect system uptime and availability to be 100%, all the time, every time.

As we look forward into 2014 our Company needs to continue to be viewed as a value-add extension of our customers’ Information Technology (IT) Department. Partners that provide value are partners that align their technology to their customers’ business objectives by helping them solve real business problems. We cannot be viewed as a ‘cost of doing business’ but rather as a partner providing services that saves their customers money, helps them become more efficient and eliminates unnecessary processes and unused resources while driving IT costs lower. Our biggest challenge in 2014 will be to ensure we continue with impeccable service while we grow the Company.  We can never lose sight of what got us where we are today — our long standing customers who have stood with us over the years. To fulfill this goal, we have created teams to focus on day-to-day operations. Their full-time jobs are to provide our customers with superior service; feeling FNTS goes that ‘step beyond’. If we accomplish this single objective in 2014, we have succeeded.

Future of FNTS: A Letter from the President

2012 was a year of steady growth but more so a year of tremendous progress in building the groundwork for our future. The body of a company’s foundation is a healthy mix of process maturity, financial disciplines, strategy, improvements in service offerings and product strengthening. FNTS has improved on all aforementioned fronts. These gains have now positioned our company, as we move into 2013 and beyond, to be at the forefront of Cloud Providers in the Marketplace.
